Article Processing Charges

The Iranian Journal of Blood and Cancer (IJBC) is an Open Access journal, and all published articles are freely available to readers and researchers without subscription fees.

Effective from 01 September 2026, an Article Processing Charge (APC) will apply to manuscripts accepted for publication in IJBC according to the following rates:

• Authors affiliated with institutions in Iran: 8,000,000 Iranian Tomans per accepted article
• Authors affiliated with institutions outside Iran: 300 USD per accepted article

The APC is intended to support the costs associated with the editorial and publication processes, including manuscript handling, peer-review management, editorial processing, typesetting, production, online publication, and maintenance of the journal's website and published content.

The APC will be requested only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. There is no submission fee, and authors are not required to make any payment during the submission or peer-review process.

Payment of the APC does not influence the editorial decision or peer-review process. All manuscripts are evaluated independently based on their scientific quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and compliance with the journal's editorial and ethical standards.

Manuscripts submitted before 01 September 2026 will be processed according to the publication fee policy applicable at the time of submission and will not be subject to the new APC.

Authors who experience financial difficulties may contact the Editorial Office to inquire about the possibility of an APC waiver or reduction. Requests for waivers or reductions will be considered independently of the editorial evaluation of the manuscript.

The journal is committed to transparency regarding all publication-related charges. Any future changes to APC rates or related fees will be clearly announced on the journal's website.

Subscription

The Iranian Journal of Blood and Cancer (IJBC) is published as an Open Access electronic journal. All published content is freely accessible online, and no subscription fee is charged to readers or institutions.

Advertisements

The Iranian Journal of Blood and Cancer (IJBC) does not accept or publish advertisements on its journal website or within its published articles.

The journal's editorial and peer-review decisions are independent of commercial or financial considerations.
